It is our goal to insure you and your cat receive the best veterinary medical service available. From your cat’s perspective, half the trauma of going to a veterinarian is encountering dogs---and all the frightening smells and sounds associated with them. Here at the Cat Clinic, we’ve eliminated that worry altogether. We offer a complete range of services, from healthy cat exams and vaccinations and behavioral consults to sophisticated diagnostic and surgical procedures on ill or geriatric cats. We also handle many 2nd opinion and referral cases from all around the Puget Sound region.
Together, our three veterinarians have over 40 years experience treating cats. Each is dedicated to the profession and to setting the standards for feline veterinary medicine. Drs. Carrie Nemec and Jeff Nevin are the co-owners of the practice.
They graduated from veterinary college at the University of Illinois in 1985 and have practiced small animal medicine in California, Florida and Washington. Dr. Nemec joined the Cat Clinic in 1995 and Dr. Nevin in 1998. They celebrate their marriage of over 20 years now and enjoy raising their three boys together. Dr. Elizabeth Johnson joined the practice in 2002 and brings her expertise after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine. Her husband is also a veterinarian doing post-doctoral work at the University of Washington.
